From digital banking and payments to artificial intelligence, investment and financial technology, Money20/20 Middle East 2026 brings some of the global financial industry’s biggest conversations to Riyadh. Taking place from 14 to 16 September 2026 at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Center in Malham, the three-day event will bring together banks, fintech companies, investors, regulators, startups and technology businesses from Saudi Arabia and around the world.

What Is Money20/20 Middle East?

Money20/20 is an international platform focused on the future of money and financial technology. Its Middle East edition brings the format to Riyadh, connecting the international financial-services industry with one of the region’s fastest-developing fintech markets.

Money20/20 Middle East grew from 24 Fintech, an event launched in Riyadh in 2024. The first Money20/20 Middle East edition was then held in the city in September 2025. Unlike a consumer banking exhibition, Money20/20 is primarily a business-to-business event. It is aimed at people working across banking, payments, financial technology, investment, regulation, e-commerce, digital assets and financial infrastructure. The official 2026 event currently expects 38,500+ visitors, 350+ brands, 350+ speakers, 600+ investors and 150 startups.

Who Will Be at Money20/20 Middle East?

One of the biggest reasons to attend is the range of organisations represented. The audience includes banks and financial institutions, fintech companies, venture capital firms, regulators, policymakers, payment providers, technology businesses, startup founders, merchants, retailers and e-commerce companies. Attendees travel to Riyadh from markets across the Middle East, Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.

The organiser's current attendee information says participants are expected from 144 countries, with around two in every three attendees identified as decision-makers. This means much of the event is built around networking and business development rather than simply attending presentations.

Startups and Investors

Startups are another major part of Money20/20. The event brings founders together with venture capital firms, institutional investors and businesses looking for financial-technology partnerships. Its programmes include startup showcases, investor networking and opportunities for founders to present their businesses to potential partners.

Money20/20 Middle East also features its investor programme and startup pitch activity, creating a space where businesses can move from discussing ideas to finding funding or commercial partnerships. With around 600 investors and 150 startups currently expected, this part of the programme is particularly relevant to founders and entrepreneurs working in finance and technology.

Why Riyadh an Important Location for the Event

Money20/20 arrives at a time when financial technology is becoming increasingly important to Saudi Arabia’s economic development. Digital payments, new banking models, financial infrastructure and technology-led financial services form part of a wider shift taking place across the Kingdom. Riyadh has consequently become an increasingly important meeting point for international financial institutions, regional fintech businesses, investors and regulators. Money20/20 creates a physical platform where many of those groups can meet within the same three-day period.
